We are hiring!

The Bookstore is seeking full-time undergraduate students to join our team and assist with various tasks at the beginning of the semester.

• Location: Memorial University Bookstore, 2nd Floor University Centre (UC-2006)
• Rate of pay: $19.00 per hour.

What you should know

This position is for the first few weeks of the semester ONLY. Although there is possibility of extension, it cannot be guaranteed.

• You must be registered for a minimum of three courses in the upcoming semester in order to apply.
• Typical shifts are 10:30-1:30, 1:30-4:30 and 9-2, although there is flexibility and extended hours at times.
• Students must provide their class schedule and notify immediately if there are any changes. Students cannot be scheduled to work if they have class.

• Excellent communication skills (email, phone, in-person)
• Attention to detail
• Customer service
• Previous experience in a retail environment is considered an asset.

Some heavy lifting may be required.
